Default Uncommon Tomes

I think Anet should create purple tome drops.

There are currently regular tomes and elite tomes but nothing in the middle of the spectrum.
A purple tome could be given to a skill trainer to learn a regular skill that has not been unlocked yet, as long as the trainer has it. This would bridge the gap between unlocked skills and elites and probably trade for around 1-1.2k in the community.

I dont think its really needed. There are only two types of tomes related to normal and elite skills.

However, a purple tome could perhaps allow you to unlock + learn a normal skill, so you dont already need to have it on your account.

P.S. I love your avatar tactical, made me laugh

That sounds like a good idea. It would be like getting a free skill at the trainer.

Oh, and your avatar made me laugh as well, Tactical. =D

i think there should be a tome that uses skill points....... maybe if yours uses skill points i would like that. and it wouldn't be a tome that doesn't make sense... but more like a waiver, to wave the fee of learning the skill.

tomes are for unlocked skills

Next thing you know people will be asking for their pve characters to have all skills unlocked as soon as they create them.

This will defeat the mechanism of skill points.

Want a skill unlock, buy it or unlock it.
